AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
Right the PGA Tour is really kicking in now and I have been going pretty decent with the golf betting based on a couple of theories I am playing with. Below are screenshots of the 3 events I have found the winners with the fantasy Yahoo golf contest. It has been a very profitable month with the PGA Tour. I have made the decision to fully concentrate on the US golf as just seems to bear fruit for me better. If I do come up with any good looking European bets then of course I will post up.
Anyhow here are my past players over January…starting with last weeks Pheonix Open.

So 3 from 5 winners for the season so far! Now I have to continue this, I am confident I can and this week see’s us at Pebble Beach and what a great tournament it is.
The return of Tiger for the PGA Tour this season and with the form he is in then we should see some good moments from the former world number 1. He does show up well for me and in my mix for the players to select and I would not be surprised to see him go very very close but at 11/2 best price I can’t be having the Tiger this weekend, double figures I would of said yes but he still for me has a lot to prove and there are some hot players currently on the PGA Tour looking to win their first tournament of 2012!
First off then is last years winner D A POINTS 40/1 VARIOUS. This tournament is known for multiple winners and with the form of Points so far this season with a couple top 10′s to his name and a top 20 then I can see him going close once more! 40/1 is crying value for a player in form and proven winner on Tour and can handle the Sunday at Pebble Beach! He will be relaxed knowing he can win here and I am certain he is targeting a back to back win!
An eye catcher for me last week was D J TRAHAN 66/1 VARIOUS. He placed 4th in the Pheonix and the key to this selection was the price along with event form. The past winners have seemed to have a decent top 20 finish in the past at the event. The event is very unique and with the PRO-AM side of things takes some getting used to so I believe this is the reason players first time playing the event struggle to adjust! So with the previous form of a 6th place finish and a 10th 2 years ago D J Trahan at the price he is, is fantastic value in my opinion.
My next selection is a player who I think can have a cracking season, and at 40/1 I have a small wager on him to win the FED EX this season. HUNTER MAHAN 25/1 BETFAIR is the man in question and he flew into 2nd last year with an outstanding last round. His sole start at Torrey Pines seen him finish 6th a trip to the middle east seen him miss the cut, so he cant be to drained from that travel! So Hunter is my main bet this weekend. I really do think he will be hard to beat if he can bring his A game and his form already in California just gives me further encouragement that he can pick up the winners cheque come Sunday.
My last selection is going to be based on my new ratings I am going to test and you can go with the selection or not, though I will give you some food for thought for him.
PEBBLE BEACH RATINGS:

BRYCE MOLDER 30/1 BETFAIR looks a decent enough bet maybe just a bit small on the odds front for me. Though look into the form a bit more we see that Molder has a good record in the event. With a 6th place last year and a 10th in 2010. Along with the 3 top 15 finishes already this season Molder looks good on form aspect along with the course form. So I am going to pop a win bet only with Molder as the odds do not encourage me to go strong with him.
Now the maybe player is good old SPENCER LEVIN he throw the Pheonix Open away in grand style last week and this week returns to a tournament he loves! I just believe his swing is no good under pressure. Whereas Kyle Stanley who won after his big balls up on 18 the week before at Torrey Pines is a completely different player and has a lovely swing that can handle pressure. Levin at 40/1 can be a saver with a win bet only.
Selections:
D A POINTS 1PT EACH WAY 40/1
D J TRAHAN 1PT EACH WAY 60/1
HUNTER MAHAN 2PT WIN 25/1
Rating Selections:
Bryce Molder 1pt win 30/1
Spencer Levin 1pt win 40/1
POINTS MEAN PRIZES???
